At this point, we would like to point out that you do not have to sign any office and/or title procurement contracts, if necessary a consulter contract.

Accreditations (appointments) are handed out directly by the President or Foreign Minister to the designated candidates. A trip to the sending state is usually required within one year.

 

In exceptional cases, accreditations (appointments) can also be issued by the ambassador of the sending state in the embassy in the receiving state. The procedures of the individual offices differ.

Example: The path of an honorary consul

 

Verbal notes are sent from the sending state to the receiving state (via diplomatic channels) to the foreign offices with the request to issue the exequatur to the accredited honorary consul. After the exequatur has been issued, the honorary consul receives a special consular ID from the relevant state chancellery (in Germany, white consular officer ID).

 

The honorary consul enjoys official immunity and receives a diplomatic passport on request (if customary in the sending state).

In this context we would like to point out that alone the applicants who are approved as consuls in the sending state, are regularly rejected for obtaining the exequatur in the receiving state. The foreign ministries are extremely sensitive to this matter. Contact can only be made from the sending country to the receiving country via diplomatic notes (verbal notes).

Requirements:

 

At least one foreign language is an advantage (English, French, Spanish and Portuguese).

Diplomatic skills at a high level.

 

The office of the consul general / honorary consul is awarded for life.

 

One-time fee/processing costs are to be paid for our service when commissioned.

 

For this fee you will be supported and accompanied by us during the entire process, from the recommendation in the sending state to the exequatur in the receiving state.

 

Accreditation

 

The accreditation of consular staff follows its own principles according to the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations (VCC).

 

The sending state issues to the head (honorary consul) of a consular post a letter of appointment, certifying their status, category and class, the consular area and the position of the consular post. The sending state then sends the letter of appointment via diplomatic channels to the government of the state in which the head of the consular post is to perform their duties (Article 11 VCC).

 

Exequatur

 

The head of a consular post is authorized to perform their duties by an authorization from the receiving state, which, regardless of its form, is called an exequatur. The receiving state does not have to justify any refusal to issue the exequatur. (Article 12 VCC)

 

Other members of the consular post are appointed by the sending state at its own discretion. The name, category and class of all consular officers must be notified timely to the receiving state, which can, if necessary, declare them to be an undesirable person before their arrival. (Article 19 VCC)

 

The appointment must then be canceled. (Article 23 VCC)

 

Breaking off diplomatic relations between two countries does not necessarily mean breaking off consular relations. (Article 2 Paragraph 3 VCC)
